e-Governance project at WBBPE


West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) under the School Education Department, Govt. of West Bengal, has implemented a web-based e-Governance Systems for efficient management & overall benefit of Primary Teachers Training Institute (PTTI), WBBPE, all the applicants & students of PTTIs and other key stakeholders. The application was successfully developed and implemented in 2015, for more than three hundred PTTI colleges. Further during the next continuation order system has undergone different stages of advancement to make it suitable to address the need of the WBBPE for the management of 657 colleges. The overall objective of the project is to enable a scalable digital platform that will achieve the following:

  • Academic Session wise Online Application for two-year D.EL. ED course
  • Online fees Collection via integrated payment gateway.
  • Automated Merit List / Waiting List Generation
  • Managing 657 Colleges (Govt. / Private.) Academic Work force by individual login
  • 1 Lacs Applications and 45+ thousand students managed in every session
  • After Admission all students get Digital Registration Certificate along with QR Code.
  • Every student can Fill up the Examination form and made payment at their own
  • After Successful Form of examination get Digital Admit Card along with QR Code
  • Distribute Exam Centre Wise Descriptive Roll Automated
  • 400+ Examiner entry the marks and upload Internal & External Mark Roll of every student at their own login credential
  • Successful Candidate get Digital Mark Sheet along with QR Code.

The application was designed in 3 Layered Architecture and hosted in a dedicated server having URL:  https://wbbprimaryeducation.org/
